The problem
The existing CI/CD process was more complicated than the platforms it served, which made deployments harder to understand, change, and trust.
What I did
- Replaced the pipeline with GitHub Actions workflows that are easy to read and change.
- Defined infrastructure in code with AWS CDK.
- Rolled out AWS Security Hub to bring security findings into one place.
The result
- Deployments are simpler and easier to reason about.
- Infrastructure is versioned and reviewable like any other code.
