The problem
A reporting interface that had run in production for years, and generated millions of dollars in revenue a year, was written in Adobe Flash. With Flash reaching end of life, it needed a replacement that customers could rely on.
What I did
- Led development of a replacement built in React.
- Carried the existing reporting capabilities over so customers could keep working the way they were used to.
The result
- The reporting tool kept running for customers after Flash was retired.
- The product moved onto a modern, maintainable front end.
