The problem
Avanti, a video learning platform for educators, was built around individual customers. As the business moved from B2C to B2B, principals and administrators needed their own tools for managing their organization on the platform.
What I did
- Worked from the tasks administrators actually come to do and designed the portal around them.
- Kept the interface simple for non-technical users, with clear navigation and plain language.
- Built it to sit alongside the existing educator experience without disrupting it.
The result
- Principals and administrators have a dedicated place to manage their organization.
- The portal gives Avanti the foundation for its B2B business.
